We haven't seen much of it just yet but basically all I've seen so far is a documentary talking about how the internet can be used as a research tool but there are things that people should be very cautious about. They talk about how parents should monitor their children's use of the internet, even though I think this isn't something a parent should be concerned about. I believe that only an idiot would fall for something like an online predator, and cyber-stalking is easily avoidable. I believe that parents should talk to their children about these things, but to completely monitor everything they do on the internet is wrong, as it gives them a false sense of privacy.

Growing Up Online
Last lesson, towards the end of the period Mr. Jones showed us a few minutes of a very interesting documentary on children growing up online. It also briefly discusses the dangers of websites like myspace, such as cyber-stalking or online predators. It also talks about Cyber-bullying, and how children are bothered over the internet.
